WY State Vet. Warns Of Horse Disease (KCWY Casper) The Wyoming State Veterinarian is advising horse breeders and veterinarians in the state to be on the lookout for a contagious equine disease. The U.S. Department of Agriculture said more than 90 horses in 28 states have been exposed to contagious equine metritis since it first emerged in December.

US Senate Considering WY Range Bill (KCWY Casper) The U.S. Senate is set to consider a public-lands bill that includes provisions to protect the Wyoming Range and Snake River in western Wyoming. The omnibus package reintroduced Wednesday includes more than 150 bills dealing with natural resources.
