Update on MN U.S. Senate Recount (KIMT Mason City)
ST. PAUL, MN - Two-thirds of ballots have been recounted in Minnesota's up-in-the-air Senate race. The secretary of state reports that as of Saturday, Republican Norm Coleman is holding to a 167-vote edge over Democrat Al Franken.
MN Unemployment Increasing (KIMT Mason City)
ALBERT LEA, MN - More people are without a job in Minnesota. Minnesota's unemployment rate rose to six percent in October. That's a net loss of almost 8,000 jobs. Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development says those numbers could increase even more as the economy gets worse.
