MN Unemployment Increasing (KIMT Mason City) ALBERT LEA, MN - More people are without a job in Minnesota. Minnesota's unemployment rate rose to six percent in October. That's a net loss of almost 8,000 jobs. Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development says those numbers could increase even more as the economy gets worse.
