Red River Valley Fair

German Festival Street Fair

Burke County Birding Festival
June 23-24, Lostwood National Wildlife Refuge, Bowbells
Be one of the first to view the prairie from the newly remodeled Lostwood Tower, which can now accommodate the public and enables a view of the refuge from 50-feet in the air. The festival also includes guided birding tours and wildflower walks, seminars, youth activities. Powers Lake will have a farmer's market, family events, Music on Main and Art in the Park.

Fort Stevenson Frontier Military Days

Fort Seward Wagon Train
June 25-July 1, Jamestown
Each summer for 37 years, the wagon train has left Fort Seward, overlooking the city of Jamestown, to travel back in history for a week. The train travels about 15 miles per day and will cover 75-85 miles during the week. It stops at known historic sites, both marked and unmarked. Participants can ride a horse, walk, or ride in a covered wagon. A chuck wagon and a portable latrine are included in the train. Roughrider Days Rodeo
June 29 - July 1, Roughrider/DSU Outdoor Arena, Dickinson
